Compliance notice

Kiteline supports your HACCP records but does not replace your legal responsibilities. You remain responsible for your site-specific food safety management system and compliance with UK food law.

How sensors will work (pilot)

Full specs published after hardware trials.

  1. 1. Approved probes placed with our team.
  2. 2. Readings appear in your SafeServe dashboard.
  3. 3. Out-of-range temps trigger alerts to nominated staff.

Email alerts are available when configured. SMS alerts are planned for the pilot and will only be offered when tested and confirmed.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need sensors to start?

No. Most early-access kitchens begin with software-only logging. Sensors are optional and only offered through our pilot when we have tested kit for your setup.

What about SMS alerts?

Email alerts work today when notification settings are configured. SMS is on the roadmap and will be announced when a provider is integrated — we do not charge for SMS until it is live.

Is this a replacement for my HACCP plan?

SafeServe helps you execute and record your procedures. You remain responsible for your site-specific HACCP plan and legal compliance — the app supports it, it does not replace your food safety management system on its own.

How much does it cost?

See our pricing page for early-access guide prices. Sensor packages are quoted individually during the pilot.
