Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Kiteline software and the website kiteline.uk.

1. Who we are

Kiteline (?we?, ?us?, ?our?) provides the service at kiteline.uk. Contact: contact@kiteline.uk

2. The service

Kiteline provides cloud software for professional kitchens, including food-safety records, allergen menus, labelling, recipes, and related tools. Some features are marked beta, pilot, or early access and may change.

Kiteline supports your HACCP and food-safety processes ? it does not replace your legal duty to run a safe kitchen or your site-specific food safety management system.

3. Accounts & access

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Your data

You retain ownership of kitchen and business data you enter. You grant us a licence to host, process, and back up that data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions & payment

Paid plans, where offered, are billed as described at checkout or in your agreement. During early access, plans may be activated by invoice until online checkout is enabled.

Prices may change with notice. Your signed quote or checkout confirmation is the price that applies to you.

7. AI features

Where Recipe AI or similar tools are offered, you must not use them to generate unsafe, illegal, or misleading content. You remain responsible for recipes, allergen information, and labels shown to guests.

8. Data export & account closure

You may request export of your operational data and closure of your account by emailing contact@kiteline.uk. We process requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

9. Availability & support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, and third-party outages may occur. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis during early access.

10. Disclaimer

The service is provided ?as is? to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that records or alerts alone guarantee compliance with food law or EHO requirements ? you remain responsible for your operations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or food spoilage. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or £100 if you use a free trial).

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
